There are so many ways you can use your character!
Mascots based on science
To get the full potential of your character you should make it part of your content strategy. Every business has different needs and the line between the great mascot and a cheesy cartoon can be easily crossed. You need to know how your audience will respond to your character and analyze the success and the mistakes of other brands in the past.
We take into account all these factors in the concept design process:
- We take into account your specific audience, what type of character would fit.
- Analyze the content strategy of brand characters in your industry: types of characters and styles, how they use their brand characters.
- Help you with ideas on how to integrate your avatar in your content strategy.
How to get a mascot?
Step 1: We’ll help you choose the right type of character for you
If the character is going to speak for you, you have to choose it well. Brand characters can be people, animals, or even objects. If you are still not sure, don’t worry just contact us and we’ll help you out!

Step 2: Creating the concept
After we help you choose the type of character, we have to decide how it is going to look like. We will sketch a few ideas until we find the one.
Here is a donkey character we created for a digital marketing company.
Step 3: Make it digital
Now we have the final sketch and it’s time to make the character digital. We create a vector image based on the sketch, which means that you can later easily add it to illustrations, scale it however you want or change small details like colors easily.
Finally, we choose the colors of your character and add the details and shadows.
That’s it! Your custom character is ready!
Step 4 (Optional): Make your character alive – get additional emotions, Poses, and outfits!
To harvest the full potential of your character you need to make it alive. Having different variations of your character such as emotions, actions and outfits gives you the freedom to put the character in various contexts on your website, blog and social media!
- Add emotions
One of the things that make characters eye-catchy and funny are emotions. Happy, sad, angry or amazed – you name it, we draw it!
- Add poses
Making your character doing different things is the key to bringing life into it. The options are infinite – working on a computer, talking on the phone or going on a vacay. Hint: Make your character perform an action, with a hint of humor, that your audience can relate to will make your content go viral!
- Add outfits
Surprise your audience with different outfits and costumes for holidays like Christmas and Halloween.
To get additional emotions, actions and outfits just tell us what you need when you order your custom character.
Step 5 (Optional): Involve your character in scenes
Get your character into action. You can use scene illustrations as theme images on your website or use them for blog posts and social media. Surprise your audience with entertaining and highly sharable content like infographics and comics.
- Illustrations for your website
- Blog Post Images
- Social Media Visuals
